Factory Production Control is an integral part of CE Marking, whether via European Technical Approval or harmonized European Standards.

FPC may require involvement of a third party body, like the BBA, or can be self-declaration by the manufacturer. The level of FPC for each family of products is set out in the ETA Guideline or harmonized European Standard.
